GSVlabs is excited to announce the global launch of our new online platform, GSV Passport™, where entrepreneurs from all over the world, can access the expertise, resources, and networks needed to support their growth. For the past six years, GSVlabs has been developing an ecosystem that connects entrepreneurs, major corporations, investors, and academic institutions through innovation centers located in Silicon Valley and Boston. In the last 2 years alone, we’ve accelerated over 100 startups from all over the world, grown our community to 250 plus companies, and built a network of over 450 of the world’s leading investors. Now, with GSV Passport™, we can provide our resources to entrepreneurs who may not have access to our centers — the first step in our mission to democratize innovation and entrepreneurship around the world.

For many decades Silicon Valley has been synonymous with technology, entrepreneurship, and start-up fueled innovation. The Valley has the perfect combination of the conditions needed to launch new ventures: a large venture capital sector, well-established infrastructure, access to human capital from world-class universities and an abundance of early adopters willing to pay for new innovative goods and services. But over the past several years we’ve seen the mushrooming of tech entrepreneurship in many other parts of the US and around the world. Capital is becoming borderless, making it easier for startups to access funds regardless of location; consumers in Europe, Asia, and parts of Latin America and Africa are demonstrating a willingness to buy new innovative products; and global access to mobile devices and the web is increasingly affordable, making it easier to reach and serve customers around the world. We believe the biggest obstacle to the development of the global innovation ecosystem is a lack of access to entrepreneurship and innovation related resources and networks. Poor opportunities to connect with investors, corporate customers and the global entrepreneurial community are holding back founders in many locations. GSV Passport™ is designed to help entrepreneurs and innovators around the world overcome that hurdle.

GSV Passport™ transcends the traditional sense of community; it’s where entrepreneurs and innovators, from all over the world, can engage with one another and easily utilize and share the tools they find most valuable. Members of GSV Passport™ have access to 100+ mentors,450+ investors from all over the globe, hundreds of templates and guides, and $450K in free and discounted services from our 50+ preferred partners. In addition to networking opportunities, members are connected to highly curated events and can share their own news and events to our worldwide community. By the end of 2019, we expect to have over 2,000 startups using GSV Passport™ to connect, learn, and grow. We are thrilled to further impact innovation and entrepreneurship on a global level and we invite you to join us on our mission of developing a truly Global Silicon Valley.
